About Quantumville Wellness Co.

Quantumville Wellness Co. delivers structured, hands-on care for individuals experiencing mental health, behavioural, and daily living challenges. We are not a passive care provider—we are a results-driven support organization focused on stability, consistency, and measurable progress.

Our model is built on:

  • Active, real-time intervention
  • Structured care systems
  • Accountability and outcome tracking

If you prefer low-engagement roles, this is not the right environment. We hire professionals who are present, decisive, and committed to real impact.

Role Overview

As a Special Care Support Worker, you will provide hands-on, in-home and community-based support to clients with varying levels of mental health and behavioural needs.

This role requires:

  • Active engagement (not observation)
  • Real-time intervention during distress or escalation
  • Consistent reinforcement of routines and behaviours
  • Professional judgment in dynamic situations

You are not there to “check in.” You are there to stabilize, guide, and build independence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Mental Health & Emotional Support

  • Support clients with anxiety, stress, and mood regulation
  • Apply coping strategies in real-time situations
  • Reinforce emotional awareness and behavioural control

2. Behavioural Support & De-escalation

  • Identify triggers and early warning signs
  • Intervene during behavioural escalation using structured techniques
  • Maintain a safe and controlled environment

3. Personal & Daily Living Support

  • Assist with routines (hygiene, meals, organization)
  • Build and reinforce consistent daily structures
  • Support task completion and independence

4. Routine & Accountability

  • Ensure adherence to care plans and schedules
  • Maintain consistency across all activities
  • Provide structured guidance—not optional support

5. Documentation & Communication

  • Record accurate, timely progress notes
  • Communicate clearly with supervisors and care teams
  • Report changes in behaviour, risk, or condition immediately

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Social Work, Psychology, Community Support, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience supporting individuals with mental health or behavioural challenges
  • Strong understanding of de-escalation techniques and emotional regulation strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in supported living or in-home care environments
  • Training in crisis intervention, behavioural support, or trauma-informed care
  • Knowledge of Canadian care standards and funded support systems
  • Valid First Aid & CPR certification

Core Competencies (Non-Negotiable)

  • Hands-on mindset – You engage, you don’t observe
  • Consistency – You follow through, every time
  • Emotional control – You remain calm under pressure
  • Professional boundaries – You support without overstepping
  • Accountability – You document, report, and take responsibility

What Success Looks Like

  • Reduced frequency and intensity of client escalations
  • Improved client routines and daily stability
  • Increased independence over time
  • Clear, consistent documentation and communication

Why Join Quantumville Wellness Co.?

  • Work in a structured, professional environment that values results
  • Be part of a team that takes care seriously—not casually
  • Gain experience in hands-on, high-impact care delivery
  • Contribute to measurable, life-changing outcomes

Important Note
